Race Schedule | Practice Schedule
2012 Race Rules
• This Series will be based on the best 16 of 23 Races.
• Riders receive points only on points championship events (see MX & Quad schedule)
• Points are given for overall finish position not per moto.
• After the 10th race drawings will be held during the riders meeting to determine if the race will be single points or double points.
• If a racer moves up to another class, 90% of the racer’s points earned will move with the racer to the new class. (example- 85cc beginner moving to 85cc Amateur )
• If a racer moves to a different cc class, 50% of the racers poins earned will move with the racer to the new class (example- 65cc moving to 85cc)
• At the tracks discretion a rider may be advanced to the next skill level at any time. Based on BMX’s competition level.
• Money Class- Track will match riders entry fee, 100% payback. (min. “ A/B” Class rider to enter- 5 rider min.)

General Rules
• Rider’s Racing Age is the age they are on January 1st, of the race year, for the entire season.
• In the event the Bartow Motocross rule book does not provide definitive resolution to a riders concern; the AMA rule book will be utilized.
• At the Starting Gate no bike/quad’s front wheel(s) are allowed behind the white line.
• No preparation is allowed to the front of the Starting Gate. Preparation is permitted behind the Starting Gate by use of hands and feet only! Use of tools/implements and/or liquids is prohibited.
• Once a rider chooses their gate on the starting line their position can not be changed, unless by gate malfunction. In this instance that rider will pick from the remaining spots on the line.
• No person(s) except for riders are allowed behind the starting gate or on the track once the 30 second board is raised. Violators will cause the rider they are supporting to lose their sign up points.
• The bike/quad you ride in practice is the only machine you will be able to race in the class registered for. In the event of any rider racing a different bike/quad in their class, that rider, will be permitted to race but will be scored a DNS.
• Yellow Flag means NO JUMPING or PASSING between the flag and the incident. Violators will be penalized a minimum of one finishing position to a maximum of disqualification.
• If a rider goes off course they can not gain any positions and must re-enter the track at the earliest and safest point. Violators will be penalized a minimum of one finishing position to a maximum of disqualification.
